DYWIDAG manufactured and pre-grouted 64 DCP (Double Corrosion Protection), 32 vertical anchors for each of the 2 wind towers to be repaired. The anchors had a total length of 28,70 m, of which 7 m corresponded to the bond length in a single section, and 21,70 m was the free length in 3 sections of 6 m and one section of 3,70 m.

CONTAINMENT ND EXCAVATION WORKS FOR THE NEW VITHAS BARCELONA HOSPITAL IN ESPLUGUES DE LLOBREGAT.
At TERRATEST we are in the final phase of the containment and excavation works for the new Vithas Barcelona Hospital in Esplugues de Llobregat. The project was designed to house an enclosure with 5 basement levels and a maximum excavation level of 17.67m. The perimeter containment formed by 60 and 80 cm thick diaphragm walls, ground anchors and metal bracing will enable, together with other additional structures, access to the basements of the building.

Integral Project for approx. 400 Residences in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Spain.

The Lot “Containment and Emptying of the Méndez Álvaro Colonial Campus” included the construction of diaphragm walls with two different thicknesses, both dry and with bentonite sludge; Emptying excavation including the demolition of old foundations and the execution of temporary anchors.

Terratest was the responsible for completing the geotechnical works in the line 16, lots 1 and 2, comprising 2 main stations, 1 TBM launching shaft and 6 auxiliary shafts. A team of 65 workers was required.

The renovated Santiago Bernabéu Stadium will have a retractable lawn that can be hidden or taken out in just minutes, which will be housed underground below its west wing. The goal is to be able to use the stadium for other events such as concerts and basketball games.
