PROYECTO INTEGRAL Plaza América
Rodio Kronsa ejecutó como Contratista Principal Especializado la Contención y Cimentación para el complejo Residencial las Américas en Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Islas Canarias. Se trata de un complejo residencial de unas 400 viviendas, con las correspondientes plazas de aparcamientos y servicios. El edificio estará compuesto por 4 niveles de sótano, 8 plantas sobre rasante, entreplanta, planta baja y cubierta. La parcela cuenta con una superficie de 8.400 m2. Este proyecto requiere una rápida puesta en marcha, por ello ha confiado en Rodio Kronsa el inicio de las obras adjudicando la fase correspondiente al vaso acabado, al ser uno de los tipos de obra que habitualmente ejecuta la empresa, contando con una larga trayectoria y experiencia sobre estos escenarios.
Empezó con la cimentación perimetral 5.583m. de Pilotes Rodiostar® de Ø 620mm. 304ud. de 14m. – 29m. de profundidad, con su consiguiente viga de coronación y vigas de reacción más la excavación en 14m. y 25m. en cada lado, de 127.000m de tierras, se realizan 5.200m. anclajes provisionales. Ø 165mm. 231ud. de 15m. – 28m. con cargas de (40t., 50t., 60t., 80t., 100t.) y posterior gunitado de 1.150m2 espesor 2cm. 2.500m2 espesor 10cm. 1.600m2 espesor 15cm.

Rodio Kronsa executed as Main Specialized Contractor the Containment and Foundations for the Las Américas Residential Complex in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Canary Islands. This is a residential complex of about 400 homes, with the corresponding parking spaces and services. The building will consist of 4 basement levels, 8 floors above ground, mezzanine, ground floor and roof. The plot has a surface area of 8,400 m2. Due to the need for a swift commencement, Rodio Kronsa has been entrusted with initiating the construction, with the specific phase assigned to Integral Project. This type of project aligns with the company's regular undertakings, benefiting from its extensive track record and expertise in such scenarios.
The project commenced with the perimeter foundation, including 5,583m of Rodiostar® Piles with a diameter of 620mm, totaling 304 units ranging from 14m to 29m in depth, each accompanied by its corresponding cap beam and reaction beams. Additionally, excavation work was carried out at depths of 14m and 25m on each side, involving 127,000m³ of earth. Temporary anchors, 231 units of Ø 165mm and ranging from 15m to 28m in length, were installed with loads of (40t., 50t., 60t., 80t., 100t.), followed by shotcreting with an area of 1,150m² at 2cm thickness, 2,500m² at 10cm thickness, and 1,600m² at 15cm thickness.
